Future Lions in All-Star Clashes

With the Class of 2007 getting wrapped up over the next month, Penn State has a few prospects participating in national all-star games this week. See who is representing the Nittany Lions on the national stage.

Penn State will have prospects representing the Nittany Lions in a variety of All-Star games this week, including the nation's first major high school football All-Star event, the U.S. Army Bowl, which has featured many of the nations best prospects over the past seven years.

US Army All-American Bowl

Where: Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas
When: Saturday, January 6, 12:00 pm, NBC

In its seventh year, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has invited several recent Nittany Lions, including Levi Brown, Jerome Hayes, Derrick Williams, Justin King, Maurice Evans, A.J. Wallace, Jared Odrick and Chris Bell to participate in the game. The game is broadcast nationally on NBC.

East Meets West All-American Game

Where: Disney's Wide World of Sports, Orlando, Florida
When: Saturday, January 6, 3:00 pm, ESPNU

In its inaugural year, the East Meets West game features players from around the nation. The game is played on Disney's Wide World of Sports resort and will be broadcast on ESPNU.

All-American Offense-Defense Bowl

Where: Lockhart Stadium, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
When: Thursday, January 4, 7:00 pm, ESPNU

Also in its inaugural year, the Offense-Defense Bowl is another all-star game which will feature players from around the nation at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
