One More Semester at Milford

Milford Prep began classes Wednesday and four-star offensive line prospect J.B. Walton was there. Find out where the 2006 Penn State signee stands as he keeps working to get himself to Happy Valley.

Offensive guard J.B. Walton signed with Penn State last February, but academic issues prevented him from enrolling in the fall. The product of Lackey High in Indian Head, Md., went to Milford Academy in New York to work on his grades and his game.

Walton had hoped to enroll at Penn State in January. But according to Milford coach Bill Chaplick, the 6-foot-3, 275-pounder will spend one more semester at Milford to make sure he is on the most solid academic footing possible.

"J.B. will sign his letter of intent with Penn State," Chaplick said. "He will be fully cleared (academically) by the end of this semester."

The spring semester at Milford began Wednesday morning and Walton was there taking classes.
