Early Commitments for PSU

The future starts today for Penn State football. With Letter of Intent Day in full swing for PSU, the Nittany Lions are closing out their Class of 2007 and the coaching staff appears excited with the response they have seen from the future Lions making commitments today.

It started for the Penn State coaches at 7:00 am this morning, when Ryan Breen became the first member of the Class of 2007 to fax his letter of intent to PSU. From there, during the 8:00 hour, the LOIs started pouring in.

Within that 8:00 hour the letters of intent from Josh Marks, Chris Colasanti, Kevion Latham, Andrew Szczerba, Chaz Powell, Joe Suhey and Devon Still came across the fax machine, one after another.

As one observer told us, "It's awesome to see so many LOI's come in first thing in the morning. Everyone here is excited to see a lot of the players up early to officially kick off their [PSU] careers."

With Nick Sukay and Jon Ditto already enrolled and participating in winter workouts, here is a list of the letters of intent which PSU's coaches have received as of noon:
