As of the first of this month, college coaches can again make a phone call to prospective recruits. Coach Kenny Carter wasted no time in calling West Virginia wide-receiver Seth Fogarty.
"He's excited that I'm coming up there to watch them play," Seth said. "He talked about how they needed a couple of receivers to come in and he talked a lot about their game."
Seth will be going to Penn State with a couple of his teammates next weekend for the game against Nebraska. He will return to Penn State a few weeks later with his parents for an official visit.
"I think that's going to be the week after the 21st. I'm not completely sure [if it's the 28th], I just know it's going to be after the 21st."
Does he have any other official visits set up yet?
"Yes, I actually set one up to UConn on the 21st and before then, I may be going out to UCLA for an official."
Who else might he visit?
"Probably Georgia, and after that I'm not sure, maybe Syracuse or Alabama."
Seth said that UCLA, Penn State, West Virginia, Georgia and UConn were still his top 5. He claims no current leader.
"Penn State's definitely up there. They got a heck of a quarterback, so hopefully they're going to be passing a lot."
