He still lists Rutgers, OU, and PSU as his top 3 in no particular order. He will be visiting PSU for their Junior Day next weekend, March 24th, with his parents. Also will be visiting OU in the beginning of April during his spring break. It has been said before, but Miller was born in Oklahoma and has all of his extended family down there, hence the serious interest in them.
I personally dont see anyone other than Rutgers, OU, or PSU getting his services. He has heard from other schools and doesn't seem to be in awe of any other than those three, nor has he indicated he was hopeful of any other offers. One other interesting note, Miller is a legit D-1 basketball player as well and he has indicated he may want to play both sports in college. He claims that PSU, OU, and Rutgers all seem to want him even more because of that. In fact, Miller claims a PSU assistant bball coach has spoken to his high school basketball coach about him. Miller average 17 ppg, 8 rpg at the small forward position.
Kenny Tate: Tate have an offer as well. He received his PSU offer soon after LOI day, although he couldn't recall the date exactly. Last I spoke with him he was concentrating on basketball and would take another look at football when the basketball season is done. That should be soon so I will try to get in contact with him in the next week or so.
Kevin Whaley: He has no offer as of yet from the Nittany Lions. So far, Virginia Tech, UConn, and most recently Maryland have offered Whaley. He claims he will be at a combine in Ohio this spring, but I am not sure if that is a Scout combine or not, he did not recall. Other than that he has no spring visits or junior days on his itinerary.
Michael Zordich: As I updated a few weeks ago, Zordich received his Penn State offer and he will be attending the junior day either March 24th or 31st at PSU.
Kyle Long: You may have noticed things have been quiet with Long for the past few weeks. He is actually down in Florida for baseball spring training right now. I plan on catching up with him when he gets back to see what kind of impact the commitment of Mike Adams might have on his thoughts around Ohio State.
E.J. Manuel: The Nittany Lions have been showing this big athletic quarterback some interest throughout the spring, but as of right now Manuel has not made plans to visit Penn State for any of their junior days. He said that he did not know about them, but things could change there.
Deion Walker: PSU offered this stud wideout from Virginia early. He remains in close contact with PSU and will be attending the PSU junior day next weekend, the 24th.
A.J. Alexander: Alexander will not be attending either PSU junior day due to conflicts with his track season. He had indicated in the past that he would take a visit some other time to make up for the missed visit during junior days at PSU.
I caught up with Alexander recently and he said that he made that visit this monday with his mother and stepfather. He said it was "great." His mom really loved the visit and he said he liked it even more than when he first saw it. They just took a look around the football buildings and saw the players running around and drilling. Also, he said that he read an article that said he has Florida State in his top three. He indicated that this was not true.
He likes all the schools the same. In fact, he said Penn State is probably on top right now because they were the only school he has seen. After talking with him after this visit, I'd say the chances for Alexander are increasing for the Blue and White.
