prospect A.J. Alexander
fielded question from fans on Sunday evening in Fight On State's premium chat. There he answered a variety of topics surrounding his recruitment. If you missed the event here is a recap of some of the chat highlights:
Alexander originally verballed to Florida State, in part, to stop the huge amount of texts and calls from coaches, which were a major burden to him.
He plans to be at all the PSU home games this season and he is bringing his mom to the OSU game, her first college game ever.
Alexander says he does visit PSU's message boards to get a pulse from the fans.
He says he is in regular contact with Mike McQueary and they have a good relationship.
He says PSU, West Virginia and Tennessee stand out for him and are mong his favorites right now. Virginia Tech and Florida are also in contact with him frequently.
He says he is not very high on Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska.
He indicates his decision is based on when he feels "right" about a program. He also says if he had to pick tomorrow it would be Penn State.
Alexander talked about Brandon Beachum's pledge earlier Sunday evening to PSU. He thinks Beachum is under-rated as a player and expects big things from him at the next level.
He says he talks to Deion Walker fairly often, but he has not met Terrelle Pryor yet.
