Walker Visits Happy Valley

Virginia wide receiver Deion Walker headed to Penn State this past weekend to see what the Nittany Lions have to offer him as a member of their Class of 2008. Get an update on his PSU visit and recruitment.

Deion Walker arrived on campus Friday and took in Penn State's afternoon practice session to see the Nittany Lions in action. After the session both he and his father decided to get a hotel room and stick around to see the morning practice on Saturday as well.

Walker said he really enjoyed his visit again and is planning to narrow his list down to about 13 schools at some point early this week. Penn State remains his lone official visit that he has set up so far, but he also stated that he will definitely visit Florida State and USC too.

This would leave two more official visits up for grabs if he elects to take them.

Another interesting sidebar is that when asked Walker if this would be his final PSU visit, other than Notre Dame game in a few weeks, he said that he will be up to University Park for the Notre Dame game but that this definitely won't be his last trip to PSU.
