FOS Chatcast, Happy Hour Slated for Friday

We welcome you to be a part of the community pregame activities. Listen and interact to the ChatCast Friday at noon. And if you are in town, stop by the real Lion's Den to say hello in the early evening.

Penn State football season is back. And so are two traditions.

Namely, the Friday afternoon ChatCast at Old State Clothing in downtown State College and the early evening FOS Happy Hour at the REAL Lion's Den in town.

Here are the details on both:

Join publisher Mark Brennan and company at the legendary Lion's Den (118 South Garner Street) from 6-8 p.m. (and sometimes beyond). The Den has THE best drink specials in town, a host of flat screen TVs, great tunes and more. We'll be handing out some free magazines while supplies last, so be sure to stop by.

Why just chat when you can be part of a ChatCast?

The popular feature is scheduled to resurface Friday at noon, as Mark Brennan and Lou Prato will do an online audio webcast from Old State Clothing at 310 East College Avenue in downtown State College.

While doing the webcast, they will field question from our site's Premium Chat.

So you can ask your questions in the CHATroom and hear them answered in the webCAST. Hence the name ChatCast (pretty tricky, huh?)

The link to listen is here. It will be activated with music shortly before the show is scheduled to begin.

Anyone can listen to the show. But only premium members can ask questionss via our premium chat.

We will talk about preseason practice, the FIU game, the entire season and more. And you never know when a special guest might stop by to talk (ask anyone who listened to our Blue-White Game ChatCast).

The ChatCast is scheduled to run from noon until 1 p.m., but could wind up being a bit longer or shorter depending on the number of questions we get. If you are in town, stop by at Old State Clothing on College Avenue to talk.
