Penn State tight end Mickey Shuler made his first career catch Saturday. It turned out to be a 17-yard grab and run that gave the Nittany Lions a 14-0 lead in what became a 59-0 blowout of Florida International at Beaver Stadium.

Shuler, running with the first team in place of the suspended Andrew Quarless, finished the game with four catches for 54 yards.
