It's not only a big football weekend, but it's also a major recruiting weekend for the Nittany Lions as several prospects and commitments descend on State College to take in the prime-time atmosphere of Beaver Stadium.
With the No. 1 Ohio State
Buckeyes in town, Penn State
will also play host to several prospects and commitments for the Class of 2008 and 2009. Here is a list of recruits who are expected to attend Saturday's game at Beaver Stadium:

Although rumors have swirled that Dan McCarthy (Notre Dame prospect) and Johnny Simon (junior prospect), both Cardinal Mooney teammates of Zordich and Beachum, could attend the game, PSU program contacts said they are unaware of either prospect as a possible attendee for the OSU game.
Despite having attended PSU multiple times this season, A.J. Alexander is expected to attend the Tennessee game this weekend.

As we broke earlier today, Safety Tony Davis is expected to miss tomorrow's game due to an unforeseen illness. It is expected that Mark Rubin will fill in for Davis in tomorrow's game at the safety position.
Questions have circled Lou Eliades' lack of participation since an early season concussion. Eliades has had foot issues in recent weeks and underwent an underwent an MRI earlier this week. The extent of the injury is unknown.
