The Senior Day contest with the Boilermakers (7-2, 3-2) is the Nittany Lions’ 10th announced TV appearance of the season. The Lions (6-3, 3-3) will be making their third appearance of the season on ESPN, having previously aired Penn State’s 31-10 primetime win over Notre Dame on Sept. 8 and its 36-31 win at Indiana on Oct. 20.

Penn State also has made four appearances on ABC, against Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan. Penn State has appeared on the Big Ten Network against FIU, Buffalo and Illinois.

The Nittany Lions lead the series with Purdue, 8-3-1, winning the last two meetings. Penn State won 12-0 last year in West Lafayette. The Nittany Lion seniors will be introduced during a pre-game ceremony.

In their 15th season of Big Ten competition, the Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 160 of their last 162 games. Future Penn State contests may be selected by the networks under the six and 12-day provisions of their contracts with the Big Ten.
