Connor Tackles FOS POG

Dan Connor grabbed his second Player of the Game honor for the 2007 season for his performance against Ohio State this past Saturday.

With 18 tackles and an interception, Dan Connor was one of the few bright spots among and uninspired defensive effort. Connor only needs four tackles to become Penn State's all-time leading tackler, a record Paul Posluszny broke last season.

Here is how the POG voting broke down:

Dan Connor: 53%
Rodney Kinlaw: 23%
Jeremy Boone: 11%
Jordan Norwood: 3%
Sean Lee: 1%
Other (write ins): 9%

The Fight On State Player of the Game honor is the ONLY award given by Nittany Nation fans to a Penn State football player. Voting is conducted exclusively at after ever PSU game.
