Still Waiting For an Offer

Safety prospect Danny Sica from Edison, New Jersy has been working hard to earn a scholarship offer. He lists the teams most interested and names his favorites.

Although Danny is primarily be recruited by several schools to play safety, he plays a variety of positions for J.P. Stevens.

"Right now, for my team, I play linebacker," Danny said, "but I played 2 games at safety this year against passing teams.  On offense, I'm all over the place.  I've played running back, receiver and tight-end.

"I have over 40 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception and around 5 pass breakups."

Sica is still waiting for his first scholarship offer.

"I have to get my senior film out.  A lot of them are waiting on that.  I've sent most of them highlight films.  Now, they mostly just want a senior tape, game films.

"Penn State, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Iowa and Rutgers are showing the most interest.  Penn State and Boston College are probably my favorites."

According to Danny, Rutgers, Iowa and Boston College are recruiting him the hardest.

"I went to summer camps at Penn State, Boston College, Rutgers and Virginia."

Sica also attended the Nike Camp at Penn State in April.

Fran Ganter has been recruiting Danny for Penn State.

Note:  Sica is very good friends with Jeff Zuttah who played for J.P. Stevens last year.  Zuttah is rated by as a 4-star offensive lineman and claims an offer from Penn State.
