DeJuan Tribble starts at both quarterback and cornerback for North College Hills High School.  He is being recruited to play cornerback at the college level.

"We're doing okay," he said.  "We're 4-4 right now.  I only have 2 interceptions, but I've been making a lot of tackles and breaking up passes.  They avoid me as much as they can."

DeJuan predicts that the recruiting process for him may come down to 3 schools, all of which have offered.

"It will probably more than likely be between Boston College, Maryland and Wisconsin."

Boston College - "I like the academics and the tradition up there."

Maryland - "I would kind of like to see what it's like to play in the ACC."

Wisconsin - "It's kind of close to home and my mom is kind of leaning towards wanting me to play in the Big 10 somewhere."

"The only visit I have set up is to Boston College on November 15.  I'm going to get to see a game up there because they're playing Syracuse that week.  That's my first official visit."

Tribble plans to take official visits to Maryland and Wisconsin as well.

He also has an offer from Pittsburgh and has previously named them among his favorites.

"They offered, but it seems like they got the DBs that they're really looking for right now.  They have two I think that already committed there.  They said they were going to be at my game this Friday though."

DeJuan is also very interested in Penn State and Ohio State although neither school has offered him a scholarship at this point in time.

"Penn State definitely is still recruiting me.  I talked to Bill Kenney and the defensive coordinator on the phone a couple of weeks ago.  They said they were going to try to make it up for a game.  Hopefully, if I play pretty impressively, I might get an offer from them.  That would definitely change the swing of things in the recruiting process.

"They sent a few letters and said they haven't really offered too many people right now and that they were going to get back to me later on in the season.  They call once a week."
