Class of 2008 Honors

With the 2007 high school season wrapped up, the all-state selections are being made. See which of Penn State's commitments have been honored so far.

As the 2007 high school football awards are being handed out, several Penn State Class of 2008 commitments have been honored for their performances this season. Here's a list so far.

D'Anton Lynn: First-Team Texas Class 3A DB. Lynn also just won the Class 3A Division II Texas Championship on Saturday.

Jack Crawford: Second-Team New Jersey Associated Press WR. Crawford caught 28 passes for 578 yards and six touchdowns.

Pete Massaro: Second-Team Pennsylvania Associated Press Class AAA DL. He also was selected to the All-Southeastern Pennsylvania First-Team and had 47 tackles (29 unassisted), 10 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and led the defense with six sacks for minus 34.5 yards.

James Terry: First-Team Delaware All-State DT, Terry was also selected as a first-team defensive tackle and second-team offensive tackle selection on the Flight B All-Conference squad.

Mike Yancich: First-Team Pennsylvania Associated Press Class AAA LB. He is also a Fabulous 22 All-Star and was selected as the Big 7 Conference offensive MVP by the coaches and named First-Team at both LB and RB. He rushed for 1,616 yards on 212 carries, while scoring 21 touchdowns.
