With confusion around D'Anton Lynn's recruiting situation due to rumors and hearsay, Cory James went right to the source to once again to get a direct understanding on where Lynn is with his recruitment and where Penn State stands.
Sunday D'Anton Lynn
was expected to essentially end his recruitment by making a final decision. Although it was initially reported that Lynn made up his mind to end his recruitment by reaffirming his pledge to Penn State
, that is not the whole story. Lynn did indicated that PSU remains atop his list, but he also explained that his recruitment isn't quite over.
"I might take a visit to USC this weekend, but I don't know yet," Lynn told FightOnState.com on Monday. "I will know by Wednesday if I am visiting USC."
If Lynn ends up not visiting USC this week then he is sticking with his pledge to Penn State.
As for the other schools on his short list, he said, "I have eliminated Texas Tech and Baylor and all of them. It is down to Penn State and possibly USC."
