The Waiting Game

Penn State and others will have to wait on a decision from standout quarterback Terrelle Pryor.

National letter-of-intent day is typically a time when recruiting battles come to an end. But for star quarterback Terrelle Pryor of Jeanette, Pa., the action is just getting started.

Pryor originally intended to make his college choice known at a press conference at Jeanette High Wednesday. But, citing a hectic schedule where he had only two days off between his team's PIAA state championship run and the start of basketball season, he has decided to postpone his decision.

"I will not make my commitment today," he told ESPNU. "… I really haven't had that much time to really get involved in the recruiting process. I'd like to take some time and be fair to the coaches who are recruiting me."

Scout.com's No. 1 prospect, Pryor said he has narrowed his list to Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State and Michigan.

According to sources at PSU, as of this writing the Nittany Lion staff was working to set up an official visit for Pryor. Pryor also said he intends to make the flight out to Oregon in the next week or so.
