Decision 2008: Devlin Video Interview

Get to know the candidate who hopes to be Penn State's next starting quarterback in this edition of FOS-TV. Also, prepare to cast your vote Tuesday.

Candidates for the all-important position have spent the last month or so making their respective cases. And while the ultimate winner won't be chosen until next fall, the eyes of all of Pennsylvania are focused on the race right now.

Clinton, Obama and McCain? Please.

While we encourage everyone to get out and vote in the Pennsylvania primary Tuesday, here at there is a more pressing race. Namely, the fight to win the starting quarterback job left vacant by the graduation of incumbent Anthony Morelli

So starting now and working through the day Monday, we are going to present videos of the … ahem … primary candidates for the starting quarterback job at Penn State -- senior Daryll Clark, who more than likely will have two seasons of eligibility remaining, and redshirt sophomore Pat Devlin.

By toss of a coin, Clark's video ran first and Devlin's video is running now.

After the two candidates, we will offer a video featuring Penn State quarterbacks coach Jay Paterno.

Then, Tuesday morning, we will unveil an online ballot where all FOS registered community members (our premium subscribers and the visitors) will be asked to vote on who they think State's starting QB should be in 2008.

You won't have to worry about tracking exit polls to see how the race is playing out. The election results will be updated live.

We would like to point out that, unlike all of the candidates in the presidential primaries, Clark and Devlin have gone above and beyond to make the race for the starting quarterback job at Penn State an amicable affair. We encourage fans to support whomever ultimately wins this battle in the fall.

But for the time being, we're interesting in knowing who YOU thing ought to get the nod.

So check out the Devlin video. And stay tuned for Jay Paterno later.

NEXT UP: Jay Paterno video interview.
