Wake-Up Call For Love?

Glen Allen, Va., cornerback Jordan Love recently visited Wake Forest for its spring game. Love, who had previously named Penn State and Wake Forest as his favorites, came away impressed with the Demon Deacons. Find out where his recruitment stands after the visit and if he will make his decision by the end of April as he had planned.

Jordan Love has been gaining steam in his recruitment over the past month, picking up offers from Penn State, Wake Forest, Tennessee, and Louisville, among others. Love had already visited Penn State and Louisville recently and this past weekend he spent time at Wake Forest for its spring game.

“I liked the visit a lot,” Love said. “I had the opportunity to talk with the coaches down there. They told me that I was the top cornerback that they were after and one of the top recruits on their board.

“I got the opportunity to watch their spring game and see what kind of defense they play, as well,” he added. “I still have Penn State and Wake Forest even, though.”

Love was expecting to take his visit to Wake Forest and possibly Tennessee before making his decision by the end of April. But things are unclear right now.

“I don't have any more visits set up right now,” Love said. “I was hoping to make a decision before the end of the month, but I don't know if that will happen or not. I know that I will be making it soon, though.”

Look for more from Love as his recruitment appears to be winding down toward a decision.
