Zordich credits the family atmosphere at Penn State with his decision to call State College home for his collegiate career. Although fans of several schools speculated on his eventual destination, Penn State "just felt like where I should be," said the 235 pounder.
Still a high school player until he reports to Penn State next month, Zordich chanted "O-H-I-O" with his Big 33 teammates, including several bound for Big Ten rival Ohio State, but when asked what words he wanted to send out to fans and family back home, Zordich wasted no time in belting out "We Are..."
Zordich considers it an incredible honor to be selected for the Big 33 classic, and promises a few surprises for the Pennsylvania team when kickoff arrives at 7:00 PM Saturday night.
