FOS-TV: DT Chris Baker

Former starting tackle talks about being away from the team and how happy he is to be back after a suspension stemming from two off-field issues.

As much as he'd like to, Penn State defensive tackle Chris Baker will never forget 2007.

Last year, he was hit with multiple felony counts stemming from two separate fights, and was eventually suspended from the team for the bowl game and throughout spring practice.

In May, he accepted a plea deal in which the charges against him were reduced to non-felonies. He was ordered to pay a fine and perform community service.

Allowed back into the PSU football program shortly after spring ball, Baker says he is doing his best to learn from the past. We caught up with him at last week's Lift For Life Challenge, which was run by Penn State's Chapter of Uplifting Athletes.
