SHORT REPORT: Marks Looking at Pitt

Former Penn State offensive lineman is set to transfer. He visited the Panthers Saturday according to Dale Grdnic of PantherDigest.com.

Penn State offensive lineman Josh Marks failed a late-summer conditioning test, according to sources close to the team.

When he was told he would not be able to participate in the preseason drills, the redshirt freshman opted to transfer. FightOnState.com broke the story last Thursday afternoon.

According to Dale Grdnic of PantherDigest.com, Marks was at Pitt's practice Saturday, watching the event from the sideline. Pitt athletic department officials would not let reporters talk to Marks, though, Grdnic said.

Marks' high school teammate at Southern Columbia in Catawissa, Pa., is current Panther fullback Henry Hynoski.

Grdnic reports that sources close to the Pitt program believe Marks will land there.
