FOS-TV: Inside Media Day

A look at the … ahem … hardships the press must endure at Penn State football's biggest media event of the year. From free food to complete access to players to a chance to watch the start of practice, we cover it all.

Ever wonder what it would be like to attend Penn State football Media Day? Well, you are not alone.

In the past few years, we have had so many people ask what REALLY goes on at Media Day and other press events that we thought we'd try to give everyone a firsthand look.

To do it, we asked videographer Janice Levine to fire up her camera and head to Happy Valley for Media Day 2008 last Friday. Since she had never attended the event, our instructions to her were simple — put together a package of how everything looks to you.

She did just that, starting with press registration and going straight through until Penn State athletic communications personnel closed the gate after the last of the media had left the sideline following the open portion of the Nittay Lion practice.

Check it out below. And if you have a comment, be sure to head to our Total Access Pass Forum to let everyone know what it is.
