SHORT REPORT: Eric Latimore

Penn State defensive end has been out of action most of the week while recovering from an injury.

SHORT REPORT: Sources are telling that Penn State redshirt freshman defensive end Eric Latimore sustained a concussion in last Sunday's scrimmage. As of Friday morning, he had yet to return to practice.

Latimore began the preseason working with the second team. A 6-foot-6, 262-pounder, he signed with Pen State in 2006 but took a grayshirt that year while allowing a pair of shoulder injuries to heal.

He redshirted last season.

Latimore is undergoing occasional tests to gauge his recovery from the concussion. A team source said it is not clear when he will return to action.
