Another Georgian On Lion's List

Because of the recent success of Penn State in Georgia, the Nittany Lions are in search of more talent from the Peach State. Can the coaching staff score another talented linebacker?

Name: Sean Mosley
Position: MLB
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 240 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.78
Max Bench Press: 315 pounds
School: Screven High School, Sylvania, Ga.

Sean Mosley's name is new in connection to Penn State. The big linebacker from Sylvania, Ga., has helped his Screven County HS team to an undefeated season. Sean's also athletic enough to play another position on the college level.

"Some colleges want me at fullback, some want me at linebacker."

Sean received a written offer from the Nittany Lions during the May Evaluation period. Jay Paterno, the coach in charge of Sean's recruitment, saw him on film of another player.

"We had an all-state runningback [Michael Cooper] and I guess they saw me on film when they were watching him."

Since May, other schools have liked what they have seen in Sean, including homestate Georgia, came forth with a verbal offer. Along with offers from the Bulldogs and Nittany Lions, Sean has received interest from Indiana, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest. Currently Sean has no favorite but he has set up official visits to Georgia (12-13) and Indiana (1-26).

"Indiana, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest are recruiting me the hardest. I'm pretty much open to any school though."

Although the Nittany Lions have offered, the staff has not called Sean recently, but they have sent him personalized mail.

"I haven't talked to them recently. It's been awhile."

Would Sean visit Penn State if the Nittany Lion coaching staff showed more interest?

"I'd like to."
