PURDUE: Rich O Video

See what Penn State offensive guard Rich Ohrnberger had to say after the Lions beat Purdue Saturday. Included are comments about a motivational speech he gave on the sideline in the second half.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — As Penn State offensive guard Rich Ohrnberger prepared to meet the media following a win over Purdue here Saturday, receiver Deon Butler noticed the collar of his sport coat was messed up.

So Butler fixed it and Ohrnberger politely thanked him.

The scene stood in contrast to what went down on the field in the third quarter of the game. With Penn State facing a second-and-15 following a sack, the Lions called timeout. Ohrnberger, a senior, laid into the entire offense.

QB Daryll Clark fumbled the ensuing snap and lost two more yards. But on third-and-17 from the Boilermaker 27, he feathered a pass down the sideline to Butler.

Butler spun and made a magnificent grab at the 4-yard line and on the next play running back Evan Royster scored to give State a 17-0 lead.

So what did Ohrnberger say in the huddle? Well, the exact details probably would not be fit for family viewing. But he gives on overview of the subject and talks about the game in general in this version of FOS-TV.
