Royster Edges Hull for POG Honor

Tailback Evan Royster managed a hard-fought victory over linebacker Josh Hull after Nittany Nation fans voted the running back their FOS Player of the Game against Purdue.

With 18 carries for 141 yards and a rushing touchdown and three catches for 43 yards, Evan Royster rolled up a strong fan vote as the FOS Player of hte Game against Purdue.

However, on the other side of the ball, Josh Hull's instrumental performance on several key defensive stops and 11 tackles had the middle linebacker give Royster a run for the honor.

Here is how the voting shook out after hundreds of votes:

Royster: 43%
Hull: 36%
Offensive Line: 14%
Clark: 4%
Astorino: 2%
Kelly: 1%

The FOS Player of the Game award is the first and only honor given to Penn State players by Nittany Nation fans. Voting is exclusively conducted at after every Penn State football game.
