Fera Reverses Field

As they say, recruiting is always fluid. Such is the case with Texas kicker Anthony Fera, who has decommitted from Michigan. Get the latest on the situation with Fera and where Penn State stands. UPDATED.

UPDATE: Since we first reported this story, we have confirmed through sources that Fera has indeed committed to Penn State. He is the 19th member of the Lions' Class of 2009.

Penn State clocked Michigan on the field last weekend, cruising to a 46-17 victory at Beaver Stadium. Now it looks like the Nittany Lions are getting the upper hand on the Wolverines again.

According to Scout's Michigan site, who reportedly spoke to Anthony Fera's father, the Texas kicker has decommitted from the Wolverines and is now preparing to pledge to Penn State.

The site said Fera spoke with Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez and told him of his decision, but had yet to speak with the Penn State coaches regarding the shift in decision.

Fera visited both Penn State (for the Illinois game) and Michigan this season. Stay tuned for continuing coverage of this situation.
