FOS Podcast: Daryll Clark

After taking a step back, the Nittany Lion quarterback talks about the loss to Iowa and more. "I've done some soul searching," he said.

Following Penn State's 24-23 loss at Iowa Saturday, Nittany Lion quarterback Daryll Clark blamed himself for the team's poor effort.

After thinking about it for a couple of days, he realizes he was not entirely to blame. At the same time, he knows that for this team to close out the regular season at 11-1, he'll have to pick up his game.

"I've done some soul searching — [saying to himself] for the past couple of games, you haven't come to the party. What are you going to do about it?" Clark said during his Tuesday morning conference call with the media.

Later, he added: "It's just a matter of going out and getting the damn thing done."

You can hear the entire teleconference, in which Clark addresses everything from his health (he says he's fine) to the mood of the team (improving) to the "Wildcat" formation the offense unleashed vs. the Hawkeyes, below.
