Clark Scores POG Honor

Responsible for five touchdowns in the route of Michigan State, Nittany Nation fans thank Daryll Clark in style, voting him their Player of the Game against the Spartans.

This past Saturday was a big day for Daryll Clark, as the Penn State signal-caller scored five touchdowns to lead the Nittany Lions to a Big Ten title, Rose Bowl berth and the school's 800th all-time victory.

PSU fans thanked Clark for his performance, which included going 16 for 26 for 341 yards and four passing touchdowns and another score on the ground, by voting him their Fight On State Player of the Game against Michigan State.

Here is how the voting broke down:

Daryll Clark: 55%
Defensive Line: 24%
Deon Butler: 10%
Offensive Line: 10%
Anthony Scirrotto: 1%

The Fight On State Player of the Game honor is the FIRST and ONLY award given to Penn State football players by Nittany Nation fans. Voting is conducted exclusively at after every game.
