FOS-TV: Jack Crawford

Get to know the true freshman defensive lineman who burst onto the scene at Penn State this year.

LOS ANGELES — A native of Great Britain who played his high school ball in New Jersey, Jack Crawford arrived at Penn State with little fanfare.

Yet despite not playing American football until he moved to the United States in 2005, Crawford made an immediate impact with the Nittany Lions. He saw time as a defensive tackle early in the season before settling in as backup defensive end.

As a true freshman, Crawford was off limits to the press until Rose Bowl Media Day at the Downtown Marriott here Tuesday. So we caught up with him for a few minutes in the latest edition of FOS-TV.
