SHORT REPORT: Spring Schedule

Get a closer look at Penn State's practice schedule and what's on tap for the Nittany Lions as they work through the opening week of spring drills.

Penn State kicked off spring drills Wednesday in helmets, shorts and jerseys. Here's the team's schedule for the coming weeks:

Thursday: Conditioning Lift
Friday: Fundamental Drills - helmets/shorts/jerseys
Saturday: Unit Drills - helmets/top pads
Sunday: Off
Monday: Scrimmage Sets - helmets/full pads
Tuesday: Conditioning Lift

Saturday, April 4, is penciled in as the team's first full (80-plus plays) scrimmage. Once the team is in full pads its is scheduled to run scrimmage sets (approximately 20 to 25 snap per practice) almost every practice.
