VISITORS: Blue-White Weekend

As spring practice comes to a close on Saturday, the Nittany Lions are preparing to play host to a variety of prospects in the Class of 2010. See who is expected to make the trip to Happy Valley.

Penn State's spring practice wraps up on Saturday with the Blue-White Game in Beaver Stadium. However, before the Nittany Lions close the books on the drill period, they will host a myriad of Class of 2010 prospects to show them what Happy Valley has to offer and give them a small taste of Penn State's unique gameday experience.

Among the prospects who are planning on making the trek to University Park are:

Adrian Coxson
Brendon Felder
Sharrif Floyd
Khairi Fortt
Josh Furman
Christon Gill
Luke Graham
Kevin Haplea
Khamrone Kolb
Silas Redd
Dakota Royer
Paul Jones
Mike Hull

Keep in mind this list can change and may not be comprehensive given these changes.

Currently, Mike Hull and Paul Jones are PSU commitments, although Jones has recently been taking visits to determine if he wants to stick with his Lion pledge.

DaQuan Jones was up in the air about the trip, however FOS Recruiting Analyst Cory Jones just confirmed he is not making the Blue-White Game trip.

Originally, Coxson told FOS Editor Mark Brennan at the Baltimore Combine this past Sunday he planned on attending the Under Armour event in Georgia this weekend, however Cory James also confirmed that Coxson will be visiting PSU this weekend.

As an aside, several members of Penn State's Class of 2009 will also be on hand, including Eric Shrive, called the "ambassador" of the Class of 2009. "He practically lives up here, which has amazing and I think actually helped him to get acclimated [to the program], even though he has not been practicing," an observer said.

"You can't underestimate how important of a role that can play - these guys are the future of the program and getting them to sell these undecided players has been a major tactic that we've been very successful at for the past several years," one program observer explained.

Stay tuned to FOS for more visit updates.
