FOS-TV: Penn State Greats

We catch up with a host of former Nittany Lions at the annual Lettermen's Golf Tournament. It was played on the Blue Course on campus Saturday.

More than 100 former Penn State football players hit the turf again Saturday.

We're not talking about the field at Beaver Stadium, though, but rather the university's Blue Golf Course. They were taking part in the fourth-annual Lettermen's Golf Tournament.

The tourney was the brainchild of athletic director Tim Curley and associate athletic director for football operations Fran Ganter, a pair of former players.

A few years back, they were looking for a way for other former players to reconnect with the program, each other and head coach Joe Paterno. Since that was difficult to do during the season, they opted for a late-summer golf tournament.

Check out highlights of this year's golf action and interviews with a host of former players below. Click "HQ" after starting the video to view the high quality version.

A special thank you to the Lettermen's Club for allowing access to this closed event.
