But then on a first-and-10 from the PSU 31, Nittany Lion quarterback Daryll Clark made an adjustment at the line of scrimmage. With only six men in the box, Clark decided against a quick out to receiver Derek Moye and instead called a draw to Royster.
Before handing off, though, Clark faked the pass, sending the Wildcat defense angling out toward Moye. As he handed the ball to Royster, the Penn State offensive line created a gaping hole up the gut.
Royster hit it and was gone, boosting is number for the game to 15 carries for 118 yards.
