Junior defensive back D'Anton Lynn talks about the spring, his own progress, the role he could play, the secondary, the quarterbacks and wideouts and more.

We had the opportunity to talk with D'Anton Lynn today, here's a recap of some of his comments:

On Chaz Powell's move to the secondary:

"He's a great athlete and has great instincts. I was suprised how fast he's piced up things. I have been real impressed with him. We were surprised to see Chaz move, we knew someone was moving over to help depth, but they have a lot of confidence in the younger wideouts. He is a great team player -- he just wants to play."

On his expectations for the secondary:

"Our expectations are going to be higher than last year. We lost two seniors, but this is a very expereinced secondary."

On where he is most comfortable, corner or safety:

"In high school I was at safety, but I have played both and i know both so I am comfortable with both now."

On being a playmaker on defense:

"I am pretty confident in myself. I feel I coulf have made more play last year, but I am looking to build off last year and make more big plays."
