Taylor To Get Visitors

Daniel Taylor rushed for rushed for 1,245 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior, and also added another 313 yards and three touchdowns receiving.

Between his own spring practices and just working out in general, it's been hard for Lutcher (LA) running back Daniel Taylor to venture out to any colleges for any spring practices.

That hasn't slowed down the number of schools coming by his school to meet with his coaches.

"I haven't gone out yet, but a couple of schools were talking coming down for the spring," Taylor said. "It's schools from all over; Pittsburgh, Purdue, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech. It's a lot of schools."

Taylor expects Pitt receivers coach Mike Norvell to be at his school, as early as today.

"They're supposed to be coming," Taylor said of Pitt. "My coaches are supposed to talk to them."

Taylor is hoping for a good visit from the Pitt coaches, in order to help set him up with an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh this summer.

"Yeah, I'm planning to get up there after our high school's (spring football) season is over with," Taylor said. "I might go to a Nike Camp, or something like that too. I don't know about all the schools (for camps) as of now."
