Treyvon Hester enjoyed a pretty successful month of May. He started off by taking home offensive line MVP honors at the Penn State Nike Camp. Prior to that camp, he had offers from Kent State and Toledo. He has since added offers from Temple and Massachussetts, who recently announced it would be joining the MAC for the 2012 season.
"The offers are starting to come in, but it's really not surprising," Hester said. "That first one is the best feeling in the world. Now, with four, it definitely gives me more of a decision to make."
Hester feels there are still more offers to gain, starting with attending some prospect camps. Pitt is a school he is hopeful of getting an offer from. He is still figuring out which of the three dates to choose from, but he does he know he wants a Pitt offer, and he does know that he will be at their camp.
"I know I want to definitely want to hit up the Pitt (camp), I think it's coming up," Hester said. "I got an e-mail discussing dates about the camp coming up. I'll go to that one, and just try to do my best.
"There were a couple other camps I'm looking at, but I didn't sign up, I didn't get any other camp dates, but I'm still deciding which ones I'll travel to."
Outside of Pitt, it's really just about taking a look at the other four schools that have offered him so far, and going from there. A decision is not in the near future. Hester feels focusing on just getting ready for his senior season is the most important thing.
"I'm not even focusing on schools I can go with," Hester said. "I still have another season ahead of me to play. I can worry about (making a college decision) in the offseason."
