Panthers Holding On To 7-3 Lead At Half

Zach Brown has the lone Panther score; a 6-yard touchdown run on Pitt's second drive of the game. The first half, unfortunately for Pitt, has been highlighted by a lack of execution on offense.

Pitt leads Buffalo 7-3 at halftime, as the offense appears to be looking for its identity.

After going three-and-out on its first offensive series, Pitt managed to get the ball down field on its next series, with the touchdown run from Brown.

Since then, its been a collection of miscues from the offense. Sunseri has done okay in the short passing game, but is 1-of-4 on passing attempts of 20 yards or great. That only completion was a 21-yarder turned in by Hubie Graham in the second quarter.

Pitt--who also wanted to focus on toning down the penalties--started off good, but ended the first half with three total penalties. The big one was a pass interference penalty on cornerback Antwuan Reed, on Buffalo's field goal drive.

Ray Graham has carried the ball 15 times for 53 yards. Sunseri is 10-of-21 for 91 yards, with Mike Shanahan, Zach Brown and Hubie Graham leading the team with two receptions apiece. Hubie Graham leads with 32 receiving yards.
