Graham Earns Honors

Ray Graham also caught two passes for 6 yards, leading the Panthers with 207 all-purpose yards.

Ray Graham, following a 201-yard performance on Saturday night against Buffalo, not only earned Big East Offensive Player of the Week honors, but he was also voted on as Pitt's Player of the Game by PantherDigest subscribers.

It marks the second 200-yard performance of Graham's career and fourth performance with 100 yards or more. His 29 carries and three touchdown runs are new career highs. He rushed for 277 yards last season against Florida International, on October 2, which is the second-highest output by a Pitt running back in school history.

His performance Saturday was the second-best by an FBS player in Week 1 and the best against a Bowl Subdivision opponent (Oregon State's Malcolm Agnew rushed for 223 yards in a loss to Sacramento State.

Graham put a nice exclamation point on Saturday's win, charging up the middle and breaking open for a 75-yard run to the Buffalo 1, before scoring a touchdown on the next play. He now has 1.472 yards for his career with 15 rushing touchdowns.
