Morgan City (LA) Central Catholic prospect Lloyd Grogan came up big in his team's 23-14 win over White Castle on Friday night. The 6-1, 210-pound prospect had 10 carries for 100 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown. He didn't stop there, finishing with six tackles, four tackles for losses and a fumble recovery for a touchdown on defense.
"We are 2-0," Grogan said. "We got Berwick next. When we played them at Jamboree, and beat them 48-0."
Grogan also returned a kickoff for a touchdown in that previous meeting.
In addition to having his senior season off to a good start, Grogan has his eye on recruiting to. He has 12 offers right now, and talked a little about the schools he wants to visit.
"I might go to the U of L (Louisiana) game this weekend, Mississippi State, then Baylor too," Grogan said. "I don't know when (Baylor's) next home game is going to be. I watched the Mississippi State game. They should have won that game against Auburn."
Pittsburgh—another one of his offers—is also in the plans.
"Yes sir, I might go up to Pittsburgh some time next month," Grogan added. "Their coaches write me on Facebook sometimes. We keep in touch on Facebook. Basically, that's it."
