2013 OT Hopes For Pitt Offer

Dorian Johnson came to the Pitt-Notre Dame game on Saturday. Despite the loss, Johnson is hopeful for an offer from the Panthers.

Dorian Johnson has been to two games so far this fall for unofficial visits. He went to the West Virginia-Marshall game earlier this month, then went to the Pittsburgh-Notre Dame game on Saturday.

"Actually, three weeks ago, I went to West Virginia for the Marshall game," Johnson said. "It was real cool. I liked it a lot. I have a verbal offer (from West Virginia). I'll probably go back again, but I'm not sure when."

Even though he's got that verbal offer, he's hopeful of getting one from Pitt too.

"No verbal offer from Pitt yet, but I definitely enjoyed myself at their game," Johnson said. "I'm thinking that's where I want to go to school right now. I definitely enjoyed the trip.

"It was my first time being at Heinz Field, my first time seeing their locker room. I was talking to some of their coaches. It was definitely real cool. I liked everything about Pitt."

In addition to Pitt and West Virginia, Johnson plans to get to a game at Penn State, and one at Boston College as well.
