Pankey Makes The Call

Adam Pankey is a 6-5, 300-pound guard out of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Ohio. During Senior Night festivities, Pankey made his college choice official.

Adam Pankey had committed to the Pittsburgh Panthers. The 6-5, 300-pound offensive lineman made it official during Senior night festivities at his team's game on Friday night.

Pankey chose the Panthers over offers from N.C. State, West Virginia and others. He had taken an unofficial visit to Pitt over the summer, then took an official visit during the Panthers' bye weekend.

Pankey joins a lineman class that includes three-star offensive lineman Adam Bisnowaty out of nearby Fox Chapel. He will also be joined by Ohio native Brandyn Cook, out of Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier. Pankey is the Panthers' 18th commit of the 2012 recruiting class.
