Pitt Gains Another Verbal
With tons of drive and determination, Billy Gaines looks like a real special addition to the Pittsburgh Panthers. At 5 foot 7 inches and 170 pounds the WR from Urbana, MD blazed his way to several division 1 offer letters. Gaines selected Pittsburgh over schools such as NC State, West Virginia, Virginia and Purdue. At the NIKE Camp Billy ran an impressive 4.22 forty and then followed that up with 4.25 on the next run. He also had a 30" vertical and 19 reps of 185 pounds on the bench press. A consensus All-State selection from his home state championship team, recruiting analyst Max Emfinger has Billy listed as one of the top ten wingbacks in the country and Sportscenus.com rated him #61 player in the nation.
