Zeigler Says He's A Panther

Trey Zeigler averaged over 31 minutes a game last season for Central Michigan, to go with 15.8 points a game. He also averaged over 34 minutes in the 2010-11 season with over 16 points a game.

After Ernie Zeigler was fired as head coach at Central Michigan a few weeks ago, his son Trey Zeigler--a starting guard for the Chippewas--decided to ask for his release, which was granted.

Ernie, of course, is a former Pitt assistant. His son Trey is now a Pitt Panther, this according to his Twitter account.

"Just committed to the University of Pittsburgh #hailtopitt," Zeigler tweeted.

The addition of Zeigler will likely fill the scholarship vacated by Isaiah Epps' transfer announced this week.
