Pro-Am Results, Wednesday Night

Pitt's Durand Johnson was the high-scorer on Wednesday night with 23 points, but his Steel City team came up on the losing end.

SPK 71, South Hills Audi 55
SPK Law got its first win of the season, 71-55 over South Hills Audi. Of the eight players in the lineup for SPK, six finished in double figures.

Pitt's Talib Zanna and John Johnson each finished with 11 points. Zanna finished with nine rebounds. Johnson added three assists and four rebounds. On the winning side for South Hills Audi, former Pitt players Nick Rivers and Keith Benjamin finished with 5 points and 9 points, respectively. Rivers dished out a team-best three assists in his team's win.

Oliverio's Peppers 89, Steel City 44
Durand Johnson was the high-scorer for the night among all performers, but it wasn't enough as his Steel City Tickets team lost to Oliverio's Peppers, 89-44. Johnson was 3-6 from three-point range, and 6-10 from the free throw line.

Oliverio's Peppers was led by Okie Sovo, who finished with an impressive double-double for 19 points and 14 rebounds. Pitt's Aron Nwonko added eight points and four boards.

GNC 78, PGT 73
In a battle of unbeatens, it was GNC defeating PGT 78-73. GNC is the first team in this summer's league to get to four wins.

In a losing effort, Pitt's Steven Adams continues to impress. Adams tied the rebound-high of the night with 14 boards, while contributing 11 points. Lamar Patterson led PGT with 17 points, and was 6-7 from the free throw line. Patterson also grabbed nine rebounds. Trey Zeigler also finished in double-figures, adding 12 points.
