Coordinator Speak: Joe Rudolph

When it comes to building upon the last two performances, Joe Rudolph is looking for ways to get the ball in the hands of his running backs a little more.

Pitt's offense took some baby steps against Cincinnati, in terms of getting the running backs involved. Ray Graham had his first 100-yard game of the season, while Rushel Shell made his collegiate debut. Graham, Shell and Isaac Bennett combined to carry the ball 32 times for 158 yards (4.9/carry).

Graham and Bennett combined for 8 catches and 92 yards. Rudolph will now look for ways to incorporate the three even more, in hopes of getting points on the board.

Rudolph also talks about the pass protection, with a look at what he expects to see this week against Virginia Tech.
