Pitt's linebacker position has been a revolving door this season. Dave Huxtable has lost Manny Williams and Dan Mason for the season. He's also without Shane Gordon for the time being. To start the season, he broke in a freshman starter in Nicholas Grigsby, who has since been replaced by Todd Thomas.
This week, in addition to breaking in fifth-year senior Joe Trebitz for his first career start, Huxtable says he's out of ideas in terms of who the next linebacker is. As it looks, he will have Trebitz, Todd Thomas, Eric Williams, Emanuel Rackard and Grigsby. Past that, Huxtable is not sure who the next available linebacker would be.
