Tyler Boyd with another outstanding performance--227 yards and 5 touchdowns in a PIAA Quarterfinal Class A game.

Reggie Green's Crandon (NJ) team lost to Palisades Park 35-21 in the state semifinals. Green still rushed for touchdown runs of 50, 25 and 30 in the loss. Crandon finishes the season at 7-3.

Ryan Winslow converted all four of his extra points Saturday in a PIAA AAAA quarterfinal game as Wyndmoor (Pa.) La Salle College High School defeated Allentown (Pa.) Parkland, 28-7. Winslow has converted 49 extra points and six field goals for the 12-1 Explorers, who face red-hot Coatesville (12-2) in a PIAA AAAA semifinal.

Elijah Zeise and Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny advanced to the PIAA AAAA semifinals opposite West Lawn (Pa.) Wilson thanks to a 56-6 rout of Erie (Pa.) McDowell). Zeise caught one pass for 47 yards, assisted on a tackle and returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown in the rout. For McDowell, James Conner was limited to just 35 yards rushing, capping a stellar senior season which saw him rush for 1,680 yards and score 26 total touchdowns. McDowell finished 7-6 overall. North Allegheny is 14-0.

Tyler Boyd rushed for 227 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 53-0 rout of Berlin (Pa.) Berlin-Brothersvalley Friday in Somerset. Boyd has now rushed for more than 5,700 career yards for the Bears and has scored 47 total touchdowns in his senior season, one shy of his school single-season record of 48 set in 2011. Titus Howard was injured in the first half of the Berlin game and may miss the rest of the Bears' playoff run. Howard was one of two Bear receivers with more than 500 yards on the season.

Aliquippa's Dravon Henry rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and Jaleel Fields was part of another dominant effort as the Aliquippa O-line flattened District 9 champion Karns City with 44 points in the first 20:35 of action Friday night in a PIAA AA quarterfinal playoff game. Henry has rushed for 1,558 yards for Aliquippa and is one of two 1,000-yard rushers in the Quips' backfield. Junior Terry Swanson (1,304 yards) is the other.
