One of the most heavily recruited athletes in the WPIAL in recent years will make his college decision today at his high school. The five-star receiver will be choosing between Pittsburgh and Alabama.
Central Valley sits between Beaver Falls High School and Aliquippa High School. Beaver Falls is known for legendary quarterback Joe Namath, who went on to Alabama, and then a Hall of Fame career with the New York Jets. Aliquippa is known for contributors such as Mike Ditka, or recent first-round draft choices Darrelle Revis and Jon Baldwin.
Foster has a chance to put his school on the map, which merged the former school districts of Monaca High School and Center Township High School.

September 3, 2010 - First game in the history of Central Valley. Foster, a sophomore, catches one pass for four yards, rushes twice for seven yards in a 35-0 win over Taylor Allderdice.
September 10, 2010 - Foster's first touchdown--a 96-yard reception--and his only of the game. His Warriors lose to West Allegheny 30-27, but his role starting to pick up.
November 19, 2010 - His breakout performance; 6 carries for 91 yards, 3 catches for 57 yards--all touchdowns, and a 57-yard interception return. Central Valley defeats Thomas Jefferson 42-24 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals.
November 26, 2010 - Avenging an earlier loss to Montour, Central Valley avenges an earlier loss in the season, defeating the Spartans 24-7; winning the WPIAL AAA Crown in its first year of existence. Foster rushes 6 times for 56 yards, catches 2 passes for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns.
April, 2011 - At the NLA/Badger Sports 7-on-7, Foster says schools already in contact, Pitt one of the early schools to express interest.
September, 2011 - Foster named a five-star prospect by Scout.com
October 14, 2011 - Rushel Shell announced his commitment to Pitt that morning, but it was Foster's Central Valley team prevailing over Hopewell 34-23, in a nationally-televised game. Foster rushed 6 times for 68 yards, had a reception for 30 yards, and a kickoff return for 80 yards. This time, Foster's defense was the subject, as he set a career-high with 13 tackles.
January, 2012 - Foster named Combine MVP at the U.S. Army All-American Combine.
July, 2012 - Foster impresses observers at the National Select 7-on-7 in Hoover, Alabama. Afterwards, says Alabama will be in the mix.
September 3, 2012 - Foster kicks off his senior year with a 31-7 win at New Castle. Foster runs for a 1-yard touchdown run, catches 8 passes for 77 yards and returns an inception 26 yards. After the game, says there are no favorites, no rush to make a college decision--only to say that his teammates will be the first to know.
October 26, 2012 - Foster takes his official visit to Alabama.
November 9, 2012 - Foster goes out in style--career-high 142 yards rushing and 2 rushing scores with a career-high 16 tackles on defense. It's not enough, as Central Valley is eliminated from playoff contention, 36-35, by West Mifflin.
November 16, 2012 - Foster takes official visit to Pittsburgh with four-star prospects Tyler Boyd and Dorian Johnson. Johnson commits after the visit. Boyd would later cancel an official to West Virginia on December 8, in favor of another unofficial visit to Pitt.
November 23, 2012 - Alabama and Pittsburgh are announced as Foster's final two choices.
December 1, 2012 - Decision date of December 21 at Central Valley High School is announced.
